The Spell Master Trophy guide

How do you learn all Spells in Hogwarts Legacy? As you progress through the game, you'll be given the opportunity to learn many Spells, of which can be slotted into different loadouts. As part of our Hogwarts Legacy guide, we're going to reveal how to learn all Spells. Doing so unlocks The Spell Master Trophy.

This guide is a work in progress and will be updated with more Spells as soon as possible.

There are 34 Spells to learn in the game. Many of them will be unlocked through progression in the Main Quest, but you will also learn some by completing optional Assignments. However, since you're able to complete these missions after the end of the story, there are no missable Spells. This means you can unlock The Spell Master Trophy after rolling the credits.

To unlock a Spell, you must follow the path laid out by a mini-game, reaching the end before a red mist grabs your cursor. Along the way, there'll be button prompts to follow. Below you'll find how to learn all Spells. We've included a brief description as well as the Main Quest, Side Quest, or the Assignment they appear in.

You'll learn Revelio during the first main quest: The Path to Hogwarts. When you are locked inside vault 12 in Gringotts, you must cast Revelio to uncover a doorway in the back. It's an unmissable Spell, unlocked as part of the Main Quest.

Shortly after learning Revelio in The Path to Hogwarts, you'll need to solve a puzzle involving statues. Here, you will be taught Lumos. It's an unmissable Spell, unlocked as part of the Main Quest.

Protego is learned during the same main quest as Revelio and Lumos: The Path to Hogwarts. As soon as you've solved the puzzle involving statues that Lumos is tied to, you'll need to fight them and Protego acts as your block. It's an unmissable Spell, unlocked as part of the Main Quest.

Accio will be part of the first Charms Class you attend after making it to Hogwarts. It's an unmissable Spell, unlocked as part of the Main Quest.

Attending the first Defence Against the Dark Arts Class will give you Levioso. It's an unmissable Spell, unlocked as part of the Main Quest.

You'll unlock Reparo while completing Professor Ronen's Assignment. You need to complete this to continue the Main Quest, so it's an unmissable Spell.

Incendio is unlocked during Professor Hecat's Assignment 1. You need to complete this to continue the Main Quest, so it's an unmissable Spell.

You'll gain access to Disillusionment during Secrets of the Restricted Section. You need to complete this to continue the Main Quest, so it's an unmissable Spell.

Expelliarmus is awarded to you for completing Professor Hecat's Assignment 2. This is unlocked after completing the Main Quest called Tomes of the Tribulations.

Complete Professor Sharp's Assignment 1 to unlock Depulso. The Assignment is automatically given to you after finishing Jackdaw's Rest.

You'll unlock Evanesco shortly after gaining access to The Room of Requirement in the Main Quest of the same name.

When The Room of Requirement takes its final form for you during the Main Quest, you'll be taught the Conjuring Spell by Professor Weasley.

After completing The Room of Requirement, you'll be able to start a Side Quest with Professor Weasley called Interior Decorating. Go through the steps and you'll learn Altering.

Confringo is automatically learned during the Main Quest called In the Shadow of the Undercroft.

Alohomora will be added to your magical arsenal during the Main Quest named The Caretaker's Lunar Lament.

Complete Professor Garlick's Assignment 1 to unlock Wingardium Leviosa.

Transformation is learned after completing Professor Weasley's Assignment.

Complete Madam Kogawa's Assignment 1 to learn Glacius.

You'll learn Bombarda after completing Professor Howin's Assignment.

Arresto Momentum is taught after completing Madam Kogawa's Assignment 2.
